Actor, Director, Producer of Feature Films, Theatre ,Radio & Television.

Graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Acting and Directing from High Institute of Cinema , was appointed Professor in Acting and Directing at the Institute . Masters in theatrical directing.

The Egyptian Movie Star Hesham Abdel Hamid started his career in 1988 as a first lead role in the film Poisonous Passion,which set him off to becoming a lead Star for over the twenty year he starred in more than 25 films, over 30 series, more than 10 Radio Series and over 6 Theatrical Plays.

 

Appeared with acclaimed award winning Film Director Yousef chahine and Dalida, in the the Film The 6th day, Was chosen by Hosam el din Mostafa, director in lead role in Posionos Love, in 1987, since then he has become an award winning star. He presented numerous films, over 25 films, amongst, His Excellency The Minister for director samir seif, Golden GLobes Foregin Language 2005 Adams way by director Mohamed Kamel Alkaliouby, Almahd Film with , director mohamed mallas. He received numerous awards,member of International Film Competitions and also produced and directed his first experimental documentary film No (2013).

 

Hesham has been locally and internationally Awarded and honoured for his unique performance and career .Hesham became the third Arab Artist after the famous Omar Al Sharif and Mostafa AL Akkad to receive from The US Congress a congressional recognition as an actor, director and producer for his film "NO",  moreover, hesham received a Letter of commandment from a member of the Canadian Parliament.

Has his own Live theatrical Silent MIME Performance Show, which toured worldwide.  Hesham has acted in several important live theatrical shows such as King Farouks { Last Whisper} ,by Hany Moutawea, Cairo National Theatre,  Wordless (Cairo Opera House ), West Side Story, Art Theatre, Marriage on Divorce Paper, EL Salam Theatre by Alfred Farag, and many other shows.
